Kristen Roberts

Prior to joining the Luna Recovery Services team, Roberts served as a Recovery Advocate for several years at different levels of care at another facility. She has also held roles as a Recovery Advocate Shift Lead and a Recovery Advocate Coordinator. Through her previous experiences, Roberts was able to see which processes and workflows worked well at the direct care level and which could be improved upon. She also worked as an Instructional Designer and Trainer where she created content and designed learning tools for new hire training programs. In this role, Roberts was also responsible for the facilitation of these training programs.

In her role as Psychotherapist, Wynne Sherman facilitates evening group sessions and works with individual clients of Luna Recovery Service’s Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Sherman works with clients who are struggling with trauma in addition to their substance use disorders. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques in group and individual sessions to best support the process of change.

As a Psychotherapist at Luna Recovery Services, Maggie Giles specializes in addiction and addiction treatment. She is dedicated to the treatment and facilitation of her clients’ psychological and emotional transformation through an integrative therapeutic approach. Giles provides weekly therapy sessions for her clients and facilitates three of Luna’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) process groups. She creates specialized treatment plans tailored to each individual client’s emotional, psychological and addiction focused needs. Giles collaborates with her clients when creating their treatment plans, starting with learning about each client’s unique story and experience.
