Who Do We Treat?
Addiction does not discriminate based on gender, age, income, or anything else for that matter. Addiction doesn’t care how you grew up or who you are. At LUNA Recovery Services we understand that which is why we offer treatment services for anyone who may need it. This can include:
- Those suffering from addiction and mental health disorders (co-occurring disorders)
- Those who might have been court-ordered to receive treatment
- Those who might not currently have a home
If you or someone you know is in need of addiction treatment and want to know more about the services we offer or have any questions, we will be happy to help you out. In addition, if it is deemed for whatever reason that we are not the best fit for you, we will help you find a facility that might be better for you and your needs.
What Do We Treat?
Not every addiction is the same. As a result, not every treatment option is the same. At LUNA Recovery Services we understand that everyone’s situation is unique which is why we don’t offer the same cookie-cutter treatment plans to everyone. We create custom treatment plans specifically designed to address you and your needs. We treat a variety of addiction and substance abuse issues including:
- Alcohol abuse
- Drug abuse
- Co-occurring disorders
In addition, we also work with those who may be suffering from a mental health and addiction issue, otherwise known as a co-occurring disorder as well as those who may be suffering from addiction to more than one substance at the same time, also known as a polysubstance addictive disorder.

The first, and arguably most important step in the recovery process is detoxing. When a person detoxes they are ridding their body of all the harmful substances that are in it which allows the body and brain the chance to begin the healing process. Due to the nature of detoxing and the symptoms commonly associated with withdrawal, it is crucial that detoxing be done under the care and supervision of trained medical professionals.
Detoxing should be done at either a local medical facility, a dedicated detox center, or a treatment center that also offers detox services. Attempting to self-detox at home can be dangerous and even life-threatening. In addition, it can increase the risk of relapse.
While we don’t offer a detox program at our facility if you are looking to undergo detoxification before beginning your treatment program we will be happy to recommend detox facilities to you that might fit you and your needs. Then, once you complete detox you can start your treatment with us here at LUNA Recovery Services.
Addiction Treatment Programs Offered
As we mentioned earlier, nothing about addiction is cookie-cutter. Even if two people might suffer from the same type of addiction, what works best for one person might not work as well for the other. That’s why, at LUNA Recovery Services, we offer treatment programs and plans designed to fit each individual person and their needs. In fact, we offer intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization programs, and inpatient treatment.
While inpatient treatment tends to be the most popular option as well as provides the most comprehensive treatment, it’s not the right fit for everyone. Some people simply can’t commit to living at the facility for the duration of their treatment.
Others, unfortunately, might not be able to afford the costs that come along with inpatient treatment as well. Some people might also be transitioning out of an inpatient treatment program and are still in need of some additional treatment during the transition period. For those people, intensive outpatient treatment might be the best option for them.
At LUNA Recovery Services, our intensive outpatient program incorporates a combination of behavioral and medical treatments including psychoeducation. We offer day and evening programs so that no matter what your schedule, there will be sessions available at a time that works best for you.
Some people need the higher level of care offered to those in inpatient treatment but aren’t able to enter inpatient treatment for one of the reasons we touched on above. For those people, partial hospitalization might be the best option for them. Partial hospitalization programs provide the same access to medical supervision and many of the other services that inpatient programs offer without having to live at the facility.
Our partial hospitalization program offers our clients a minimum of 25 hours of clinical and medical care a week. Additionally, those who are part of our partial hospitalization program will have the ability to live in the comfort of either their own home or a safe and supportive sober living environment while getting the treatment that they need.
For those who are in need of access to medical care or who need to stay at the treatment facility for the duration of their treatment, inpatient treatment is the best option for them. Inpatient treatment is actually the preferred treatment method for most treatment professionals because it has the highest success rate since the client does not have to worry about the temptations of daily life getting in the way of their treatment. Typically, the length of time for residential treatment can range from a few weeks to a few months depending on the person and their situation.
At LUNA Recovery Services we offer both long-term and short-term inpatient treatment. During residential treatment, you will attend your therapy sessions as well as have access to other services such as medical professionals and nutritionists who can help you get your body and mind back on track as you begin your road to recovery.
What Makes LUNA Recovery’s Addiction Treatment Programs in Texas Different?
We Give Our Clients Hope For A Better Life By Focusing On and Strengthening Who They Already Are
No one is saying rehab is easy, but our client-centric approach to treatment involves holistic care that concentrates on the entire person. While coping with the challenges of alcohol and drug recovery, our clients also pursue physical and mental wellness through exercise, meditation, and mindfulness activities. After all, strengthening the whole person is our goal.
Our Programs Address What’s Preventing Our Clients From Connecting with Themselves and Those They Love
By using evidence-based clinical practices, we address relationship issues, trauma, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. These underlying problems drive addiction, consequently making it more difficult to overcome. Patterns involving these disorders prevent our clients from connecting with themselves and those they love.
We’re There Every Step of the Way
Addiction, no matter what type, is a pattern that’s tough to break. It takes courage and the willingness to create a new way of life. At LUNA Recovery Services, we’re there every step of the way—both while you’re under our care and when you return home to begin your new journey.
